Hideto (Hyde) Matsudo
President

Hideto is the founder and President of Japan Business Club NZ. Originally from Okinawa, he moved to New Zealand in 2001 and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland. He is also a director of Toroma Chartered Accountants with over 17 years of experience.

At the club, Hideto brings his expertise in business strategy and financial management, helping members navigate challenges and grow their businesses while fostering a supportive community.

Kazu Hamao
Vice President

Kazu is the President and founder of Daruma Group in New Zealand. Since launching Daruma’s first restaurant, he has grown the company to operate multiple sushi and ramen locations in Auckland, with a central kitchen. His approach blends a focus on customer satisfaction with community engagement, and he continues to lead the group’s ongoing development.
In the Japan Business Club NZ, Kazu brings practical business insights, leadership experience, and a focus on community connection, supporting members to build relationships and strengthen their ventures.

Misaki Oshiro
Public Relations

Misaki is an experienced real estate consultant based in Auckland, working with Harcourts Cooper & Co. She has been active in the industry for over a decade and is known for her strong communication skills, deep market knowledge, and client-centred approach. Misaki’s clients often highlight her honesty, responsiveness, and ability to guide people through complex property decisions, whether buying or selling. She brings these strengths to her role in the Japan Business Club NZ, helping the community stay informed and connected.

Harumasa Murayama

Harumasa is the President and founder of TOKYO FOOD Co., Ltd., a well-established wholesaler and retailer of Japanese food and related products in New Zealand. Under his leadership, the company has grown since its establishment in 1987 to serve a wide range of customers, bringing authentic Japanese products to the New Zealand market. His experience in import, distribution, and retail offers valuable insight to the Japan Business Club NZ community.
